About Ray

Ray is an author, a mother of four, and a Creative Writing Coach from Essex. Her debut trilogy, Earthlings,

Dominion and Land of Hope and Glory, have won multiple awards and were overnight bestsellers, having secured a three-book publishing deal with Chronos Publishing. A firm believer of magick, Ray can often be found stargazing under the moon with a tarot deck in one hand and a strong cuppa in the other.

The Soul Story App

Ray is now channelling her passion into developing Soul Story, a mindful creative writing app designed to help aspiring authors write and publish the book they were born to write. Soul Story is set to launch in 2026 - for more info, click here.

What makes Ray an eco-friendly author?

Ray is a member of the Climate Fiction Writers League, her books are printed on recycled paper where possible and she plants 1 tree per book sale via Ecologi. Ray also worked with the Society of Authors Sustainability Working Group, to contribute towards the Tree to Me Campaign, encouraging authors to advocate for sustainable book printing within the industry.

When Ray isn't writing, she is happiest spending time with her family and friends, exploring nature with her children and rescue dogs or teaching Creative Writing Workshops. It is Ray's dream to one day open The Peridot Animal Sanctuary and Wildlife Reserve in England and that dream inspired Ray to close her business of fifteen years to pursue a writing career.
